In the morning of 5 October, an accident occurred in the village of Pyrlitsa, Ungheni district, in which three people, including two children, were injured. The incident occurred when a Peugeot car driven by a 32-year-old woman went out of control and collided with a power line.
For reasons as yet unknown, the novice driver was unable to maintain control of the car and the collision with the power line occurred. There were two other children in the car: a three-year-old girl and a seven-year-old boy. All three victims were transported to a local hospital for medical attention.
