Igor Dodon, former president, believes that the Moldovan diaspora, which supported Maia Sandu and PAS in the last elections, is now disappointed.
According to him, President Sandu will not be able to repeat the success of the past years in the October 20 elections, as unimedia.info reports.
“Recently I was in Italy with my family. Many of our citizens live there. Most of those I talked to voted for Maia Sandu and against me four years ago. But now I haven’t heard a single good word from them about her.
The success that Sandu and PAS had in the diaspora four years ago is no more. People are too disappointed,” Igor Dodon said.
