The Parliament has finally adopted a draft that amends the system of state duty. The initiative, proposed by MP Olesia Stamate from the PDS, aims to simplify the fee payment process and eliminate double taxation. It also provides for exemption from the fee for de-registration and from stamp duty for bailiffs and financial administrators. The proposed changes also clarify the rules on subpoenas in non-property cases and exempt duty in administrative cases. State duty will now be calculated on the basis of the value of the property in requests for its division.
