The program Punctul pe AZi discussed the fight against corruption and Moldova’s progress in this direction. The guests of the program emphasized the importance of achieving results in this fight in order to restore citizens’ trust in the country’s judicial system.
PDS MP Vasile Gradinaru emphasized that the average time of examining corruption cases is three and a half years. He noted that not even three years have passed since they came to power. Gradinaru also clarified that in the National Anti-Corruption Agency (CNA), out of 300 cases, 79 are in the final stages of preparation and will soon be brought to court. He also said that so far more than 6 billion lei have already been confiscated, both at home and abroad.
