The first locally produced electric bus has appeared in Moldova. This vehicle can travel up to 70 km on a single charge and is recharged in just half an hour. Prime Minister Dorin Recean, Economics Minister Dumitru Alaiba and Energy Minister Victor Parlicov inspected the novelty. They congratulated the Informbusiness team on this achievement and expressed wishes for further success.
It is especially interesting that the electric bus has a unique Moldovan identification number (VIN), which is internationally recognized. Depending on the battery capacity, this bus can travel up to 70 km on a single charge, and the charging process takes only 30 minutes. This company, headed by Mr. Yeshanu, has achieved recognition in the global market. It exports about 30 models of trolleybuses, electric buses and streetcars to more than 170 cities around the world, according to rupor.md.
Economy Minister Dumitru Alaiba said that the success of this initiative also symbolizes Moldova’s success. The authorities are eager that this will attract the attention of foreign investors to our country.
