In Chisinau, as of the morning of 20 November, more than 90% of the 2,711 multi-storey houses with centralised heating were connected to the heating system. This amounts to 2,510 houses, or 93 per cent of the total number.
The remaining houses are planned to be connected during the current week, as the municipality reported in its Telegram channel.
The distribution of connected houses by neighbourhood is as follows:
– Chekany: 360 out of 365 houses are connected;
– Centre: 374 out of 442 houses are connected;
– Ryshkanovka: 655 out of 686 houses are connected;
– Botanika: 628 out of 675 houses are connected;
– Buiucani: 493 out of 543 houses are connected.
In the suburbs of Chisinau, 148 out of 171 houses with centralised heating have already been connected.
It is noteworthy that the capital’s social and medical institutions, subordinated to the General Directorate of Medical and Social Assistance, have already received heating.
In schools and kindergartens, most institutions are connected to centralised heating, including all 154 kindergartens and 130 out of 131 primary and secondary schools. The only exception is the Grigore Vieru Lyceum in Bălţi. The only exception is the Grigore Vieru Lyceum in Bacioi, where the heating system is currently being overhauled. Also, the heat supply has started in all 24 institutions of additional education in Chisinau.
The municipal authorities are closely monitoring the process of connecting apartment buildings to the central heating system, in order to ensure comfort for all residents.
