The Chairman of the Board of Moldovagaz, Vadim Cheban, confirmed this information on his social media page. He noted that the state-owned company Energocom sent a letter to Moldovagaz with a price forecast for gas procurement from June to December 2023.
Vadim Cheban emphasized that the company already has price forecasts from Energocom and that the proposed tariffs for consumers will be announced on Monday. It should be noted that representatives of Energocom stated that their procurement prices for gas are significantly lower than the projected prices from Gazprom, especially for the autumn-winter period. They believe that now Moldovagaz has no reason not to reduce gas tariffs.
