Moldova’s Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration, Cristina Gerasimov, has reiterated that the Moldovan government is sticking to its commitment to implement the reform programme. The statement was made during a telephone conversation on Tuesday with Czech Minister for European Affairs Martin Dvorak, the government’s press service said.
During the conversation, the sides discussed the progress made in the implementation of the last three recommendations of the European Commission, as well as the latest developments in terms of European integration. A special attention was paid to Moldova’s first steps in assessing the compliance of its legislation with the EU standards.
Gerasimova thanked the Czech Republic for its support in obtaining a favourable decision to start negotiations on Moldova’s accession to the European Union.
