
Deputy Prime Minister Mihai Popşoi held a string of meetings with the foreign ministers of Turkey, Luxembourg, Montenegro and Azerbaijan, within a diplomatic forum in Antalya. At the meeting with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, the sides noted the progress in the talks and discussed prospects for deepening the cooperation between Moldova and Turkey.
Luxembourg Foreign Minister Xavier Bettel discussed bilateral relations and cooperation opportunities, especially in the context of Moldova’s European integration.
Montenegrin Foreign Minister Filip Ivanovic discussed the activation of trade and economic ties and prospects of developing tourism between the two countries, given Montenegro’s attractiveness as a tourist destination.
The meeting with his Azerbaijani counterpart Ceyhun Bayramov was an opportunity to assess the current state and prospects of co-operation in energy, trade-economic and investment spheres.
These meetings are important steps in the consolidation of Moldova’s foreign relations and confirm Moldova’s willingness to cooperate internationally and develop bilateral relations.
