The Prime Minister stated that his discussion with Vadim Krasnoselski was aimed at reducing tensions and preventing the worsening of the situation related to the energy crisis. He mentioned that, upon returning from Moscow, Krasnoselski was under the impression that Moscow had found a solution to the gas problem. However, according to Răchan, Moscow did not offer a real solution but instead conveyed to the Transnistrian authorities the idea that Moldova is blocking gas supplies. Răchan’s goal was to prevent the escalation of the situation.
When asked who Krasnoselski met with in Moscow, Răchan replied that he didn’t waste time, as the Moldovan government has an important task — to ensure peace and security.
Additionally, Răchan added that the current energy crisis in Transnistria was provoked by Russia, which, in his view, is not seeking solutions but is attempting to destabilize the situation in Moldova.
