A group of deputies from the Party of Action and Solidarity (PAS) has introduced a bill in parliament aimed at preventing negative consequences. The main focus of the bill is on the Shor party and similar political forces. The aim of the bill is to set restrictions for members of these parties, tv8.md informs.
According to the proposal, persons who have held positions in the executive body of a political party that was declared unconstitutional by the Constitutional Court, as well as persons who were on the lists of alternative candidates from these parties, will not be able to be elected to elective positions for 3 years from the date of the decision.
In addition, the draft law provides that attributes of political parties recognized as unconstitutional cannot be used by other political forces, electoral blocs or electoral competitors. The use of such attributes will be grounds for refusal to register a political party, electoral bloc or other competitor by the State Services Agency or the Central Election Commission.
