
As a result of the recent elections in Moldova, the main leaders have emerged who will represent the interests of citizens in the new political cycle.
1. Maia Sandu (45.86%)
Candidate from the “Action and Solidarity” party, current president. Sandu continues the course towards the country’s European integration, emphasizing the fight against corruption and the reform of state institutions. Her high results indicate public support for the implementation of planned reforms.
2. Alexandru Stoianoglo (25.49%)
Former General Prosecutor, presented a platform focused on strengthening public order and improving social conditions. Stoianoglo highlighted the need to combat corruption, but his close ties to the political elite raise questions among voters.
3. Renato Usatîi (8.95%)
Leader of the “Our Home – Moldova” party. Usatîi positions himself as an alternative to traditional political forces. His electoral campaign was focused on solving social issues and improving economic conditions, although his reputation in certain circles also raises concerns.
4. Irina Vlah (7.99%)
Candidate from “Unity” and mayor of the city of Bender. Vlah emphasizes the development of local government and support for rural areas. Her strategy aims to attract investments and improve infrastructure.
5. Ion Chicu (3.38%)
Former Prime Minister and member of the “Socialist Party.” Chicu advocates for social guarantees for the population and the restoration of traditional ties with Russia. Despite his low result, he maintains support among certain voter groups.
6. Natalia Morari (2.38%)
Morari represents the “Greens” party and focuses on environmental issues and sustainable development. Her platform includes ideas for environmental protection and the promotion of green technologies.
7. Vasile Tarlev (1.78%)
Represents the “Patriots of Moldova” party. His platform is based on patriotism and the protection of national interests, but he has not managed to attract widespread support from voters.
8. Octavian Țîcu (1.65%)
A young politician representing a minority of votes. Țîcu emphasizes youth policy and digitalization, but his ideas have not yet resonated with a wide audience.
