Last night, a serious traffic accident occurred on the Straseni – Chisinau highway, resulting in five people injured. The accident occurred when BMW and Mercedes cars collided.
Police said that the BMW car overturned as a result of the accident. Five victims, including the BMW driver and four passengers (including a minor), were hospitalized, according to information relayed by realitatea.md.
According to breathalyzer results, all drivers were sober. The circumstances of the incident are currently being established.
