Moldova is launching a revision of age pensions established after 1 January 2019, according to the National Social Insurance Fund. This initiative affects those who receive a pension and have more than two years of insured service after it was granted.
According to information from the National Social Insurance Fund, previously established pensions will also be reviewed if people have at least two years of insurance experience. From 1 January 2024, disability pensions granted before 1 January 2022 will also be reviewed for those who have between two and seven years of pensionable service.
The National Social Insurance Fund provides a convenient electronic service for applying for pension revision called “e-Cerere. Reexaminare pensie.” This service is available on the official website of the NCSS (cnas.gov.md) and on the government portal servicii.gov.md. Applications can be submitted electronically from 01 January 2024, and a minimum number of identification data must be entered.
