Simplification and modernization of the car registration procedure will become more accessible and convenient for citizens. Such a change has been approved by the Government. The main goal of the project is to digitalize public services and simplify the interaction between people and authorities.
According to the innovations, in order to reduce the number of visits to offices, some documents will cease to be mandatory, and access to information on the MConnect platform will be expanded.
Car owners will now be able to transfer ownership of their vehicles without having to present the vehicle itself. There will be no requirement to provide a copy of the vehicle’s registration or deregistration certificate.
In addition, the vehicle verification period, which was previously 5 working days, will be increased to 30 days.
