
The Patriarch of the Romanian Orthodox Church, His Holiness Daniel, has been invited to visit the Republic of Moldova. This decision was made during the meeting of the Metropolitan Synod of the Metropolis of Bessarabia. The invitation mentions that the visit will be a historic one and will mark the first visit of the Patriarch of the Romanian Orthodox Church to Bessarabia, thus strengthening the spiritual bond between the two banks of the Prut River.
During the meeting, important topics were discussed regarding the missionary, pastoral, social, and cultural activities of the Romanian Orthodox Church in Bessarabia.
