The Minister of Health, Alla Nemerenko, announced the forthcoming increase of tariffs for some medical services that do not correspond to the current costs. She emphasized that this change will not affect insured citizens and urged citizens to demand their rights when applying to medical institutions.
Nemerenko gave examples of services for which tariffs will increase significantly. For example, the cost of adenotomy, including all expenses, is currently 70 lei, but after the changes it will increase to 1,124 lei. The tariff for oxygen barotherapy will increase from 59 to 500 lei.
The minister assured that the changes will not affect the insured persons and explained that the tariffs are used to calculate the expenses paid to the medical institutions.
