Employees of the State Enterprise “Moldovan Railroad” faced nearly three months of salary delays, resulting in debts of over 100 million lei. Reduced freight transportation in 2022 and financial difficulties were the main reasons. The authorities are considering measures to improve the situation and pay off the debts. Past similar cases of salary delays were also observed at this company in 2020 and 2021.
