Tragic accident on the R-20 highway: 3 dead, including a child, and 3 wounded
Three people were killed and three injured in a serious road accident, which occurred on the road R-20 between Step-Sochi and Kipercheni in the Orhei district. It was initially reported that the dead woman was 51 years old, but it was later clarified that she was 30 years old. Two minors, ages 3 and 8, were taken to the hospital for medical attention.
According to preliminary reports, the 53-year-old man driving the Renault did not consider the speed and conditions of the wet road. He drove into the oncoming traffic lane and collided with a Lexus car driven by a 45-year-old man.
As a result of the collision, the driver, a woman and a 13-year-old child, who were in the Renault, died at the scene. The passenger of the Lexus car and two minors from the Renault were taken to Orhei district hospital with various injuries.
The police are investigating to find out all the circumstances of the accident.
