In Bender, two drug-addicted men caused panic by barricading themselves in a garage and threatening to carry out an explosive act. The incident took place on 2 October. Rescuers, firefighters and special forces were sent to the scene, and an ambulance was also called. The men refused to open the door and threatened law enforcers, so rescuers had to break down the door. A search of the garage found no explosives or ammunition, but traces of drugs were found. The 38- and 39-year-old men were detained and had no previous convictions. A criminal case has been opened and checks and examinations are being carried out.
