The relevant draft was developed by representatives of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Regional Development and submitted for public consultation. These changes include additions to the list of road signs, including 1.3.3 (indicating single-track railway without barrier and with automatic light signalling) and 1.3.4 (indicating multi-track railway without barrier and with automatic light signalling).
In addition, new road signs will be introduced to indicate “additional panels at motorway junctions”.
The authorities are also introducing new road markings:
1.13.2 is a marking that has the same meaning as 1.13.1, represented as adjoining triangles with their vertices pointing in the direction of approaching traffic. This sign indicates the place where the driver must stop, if necessary, to give way to vehicles travelling on the crossing road.
1.17.3 is a triangle marking placed at the edge of the carriageway to warn of an approach to a pedestrian crossing or cycle lane.
1.17.4 is a marking represented by a zigzag line at the edge of the carriageway to indicate an approach to a pedestrian crossing or cycle lane.
