A young Chisinau resident shared on social networks an unpleasant incident that happened to her on the street. She reported that an unknown young man attacked her, using foul language and hitting her on the head with his fist. The police identified the assailant and initiated criminal proceedings. After regaining consciousness, the girl tried to take a picture of the attacker, but he left for a local store. He was later identified as 19-year-old Maxim. Police confirmed that a criminal case has been opened under the Criminal Code article on hooliganism in public places. Under the law, such actions are punishable by a fine or compulsory community service.
