Apple’s Senior Vice President for International Marketing, Greg Joswiak, announced that next week the company will unveil several new Mac devices. The first announcements are expected as early as Monday, October 28. This means that Apple will not hold a separate event but will instead release a series of press releases. In the past, when there were no major presentations, the company also announced new products on the launch day.
Rumor has it that Apple will introduce the first Mac computer with the M4 chip, as well as updates for the iMac, Mac mini, and the base model MacBook Pro. The more expensive MacBook Pro models will feature the powerful M4 Pro and M4 Max chips, and one version of the Mac mini will also have the M4 Pro.
The design of the iMac and MacBook will remain unchanged, but it seems that the Mac mini will become smaller, approaching the size of the Apple TV. All base models are expected to come with 16 GB of RAM instead of 8 GB.
