Most of the actions to implement the nine recommendations of the European Commission within the framework of the Republic of Moldova’s application for EU accession have been successfully implemented. The expert report submitted by several institutes and centers confirms that 40% of the actions were implemented without deficiencies, 41.66% – with some reservations, 16.66% require implementation, and only 1.67% were implemented with significant reservations. Public financial management reform and the implementation of OSCE/ODIHR recommendations on electoral reform were commended. However, progress remains to be made in the areas of de-oligarchization and anti-corruption. Regular reports summarize progress and the level of implementation of recommendations, and many measures will be taken to ensure a successful EU accession process.
