The President of the Bundestag, the upper house of the Federal Republic of Germany, Berbel Bas, is planning to pay an official visit to Moldova from July 12 to 13.
During his stay, Berbel Bas intends to meet with Moldovan President Maia Sandu, Prime Minister Dorin Recean and Deputy Speaker of Parliament Mihail Popşoi, according to the moldpres.md website.
During these meetings, they will discuss various important topics, including Moldova’s reform program, security issues in the region and Moldova’s aspirations for the European development path.
This is the first official visit of German Bundestag Speaker Berbel Bas to Moldova, which makes his visit particularly significant.
