On April 13, the police received a report that the body of a 12-year-old girl was found hanged in a forest belt near Balti. After examination, medics found no signs of violent death on the girl’s body. The press secretary of the Balti Police Department, Inna Banari, confirmed that the case had been registered and the law-enforcement bodies would carry out an investigation to clarify all the circumstances of the incident within the framework of the criminal process. The girl’s body was sent for forensic medical examination.
