PAS deputy Dorian Istrațchi is convinced that the changes made to the state budget for 2024, which were discussed and approved by Parliament, will help improve the quality of life for people and support key sectors of the economy. He stated this during his speech at the Parliament session, as reported by infotag.md.
“Today, it is important to take measures to strengthen the economy… The proposed changes reflect our commitment to respond to challenges and invest in the future. In recent months, the country’s economy has shown signs of recovery due to the growth of domestic demand and higher tax revenues. But this progress is not enough… The 2024 budget was adjusted in line with the country’s real priorities: the deficit has been reduced to 15.1 billion lei, which demonstrates responsible management of funds and the consolidation of financial stability. Our roads are improving and conforming to European standards, for which 622 million lei have been reallocated…”, Istrațchi noted.
He added that “these changes are not just numbers on paper, but reflect the needs and expectations of society.”
“These changes will help improve people’s lives and support important sectors. Spending on teachers’ salaries will increase by 287 million lei, and for employees of theaters, circuses, and concert organizations, it will increase by 21.4 million lei. The economy is the engine of development, which is why we allocate 100 million lei for various business support programs,” the deputy concluded.
