Moldovan President Maia Sandu met with the Presidents of Austria, Alexander van der Bellen, and Slovenia, Natasa Pirtz Musar, in Chisinau. Sandu expressed joy at the confirmation of the European partners’ willingness to start talks, stressing that this is a strong signal of support for Moldova in its endeavour to join the big European family. She expressed gratitude for the projects financed by Austria and Slovenia in Moldova, called for solidarity with Ukraine and stressed the importance of launching the European Union accession talks to ensure peace, freedom and prosperity in the country.
