The document defines the steps to be taken in order for Moldova to join the European Union. It also aims to achieve the four main objectives set out in the National Plan “Building a European Moldova”: ensuring peace and security, stimulating economic development and job creation, modernising infrastructure and improving living conditions, and reforming justice.
For 2024, 546 normative acts are planned to be implemented, including 134 draft laws, 403 government decisions and 9 programme documents. Of this total, 298 actions (55%) are aimed at fulfilling the criteria for EU accession.
The approximate total cost of developing the planned normative acts in the Government Action Plan for 2024 is 38.1 million lei.
