Citizens of Moldova are invited to vote on Sunday, November 3, in the presidential elections. The current president, Maia Sandu, and former general prosecutor, Alexandru Stoianoglo, are competing for this position.
To vote, voters must present one of the following documents:
– identity card;
– temporary identity card;
– passport of the citizen of the Republic of Moldova.
For those without a valid document, temporary identity cards will be issued at the multifunctional centers of the Agency for Public Services from 07:00 to 21:00.
Voting will take place using the same voter list as in the first round.
A total of 2,219 polling stations have been opened for the presidential elections, of which 1,988 are in Moldova, including 30 for residents on the left bank of the Dniester. For the diaspora, 231 polling stations have been organized in 37 countries.
Polling stations will be open from 07:00 to 21:00. The elections will be considered valid if at least one-fifth of the voters participate.
