Israel’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Gideon Saar, announced that the embassy will be opened in 2025. Moldova supports this decision, emphasizing the shared values and interests with Israel. Earlier, Moldova had already opened an embassy in Israel. Saar also announced the closure of Israel’s embassy in Ireland due to the anti-Israel policies of that state.
