According to the head of the Economy Ministry, the authorities actively support entrepreneurs and those who seek development. Dmitri Alaiba said that 15 business support programmes were granted with the support of the Entrepreneurship Development Organisation.
“We allocated financial grants totalling about 260 million lei for 668 companies.
Also, the state programme 373 was launched, which helped 177 companies. Investments in this programme have already reached 752 million lei, which led to the creation of more than 20 per cent of new jobs,” the minister said.
Alaiba also stressed that thanks to the patent reform, more than 90 per cent of the 4,202 former patent holders switched to self-employment. Since 1 July, more than 2 million tax receipts totalling over LE 325 million have been issued. This is a testament to a healthy and fair economy where the rules are the same for everyone.
“We are working to create a favourable economic environment in which both large and small entrepreneurs, foreign and local companies can develop freely in Moldova,” the minister concluded.
