Prime Minister Dorin Recean announced the start of negotiations on Moldova’s accession to the European Union after holding the first intergovernmental conference in Luxembourg. He expressed confidence that the goal to prepare the country for EU accession by 2030 is achievable.
“The organization of this conference means that we have five and a half years to create medical, educational, social, infrastructure, energy and business services according to European standards. This is essential for our citizens to live in peace and well-being here at home,” Recean emphasized.
He also noted the support of all capitals of the EU member states and expressed confidence in the successful implementation of the plan.
