Over the past two years, the government has been actively opposing the hybrid war initiated by Russia, while focusing on economic development. This was stated by Prime Minister Dorin Recean in an interview for PSNews. He said the government’s efforts are aimed at improving the business environment, attracting investments and creating new jobs, which contributes to Moldova’s European integration.
“We have reduced inflation to a normal level of 4.2% and now we are working to strengthen the economic base. Our goal is to increase the profitability of companies and ensure favorable conditions for all citizens,” Recean said.
He also emphasized the stability of the political environment in the country, noting that the parliament, where the Action and Solidarity Party holds the majority with 63 mandates, will continue its work for the next two years.
Answering questions about the fight against extremism, the prime minister emphasized that extremists have a limited ability to influence the situation, as the country is governed by the rule of law.
