Moldovan athlete Alexandrina Chubotaru won the silver medal at the European Weightlifting Championship for juniors (U-20) and U-23, which is taking place in Poland from October 26 to November 3. In the weight category up to 75 kg among participants under 20 years old, she achieved excellent results: in the snatch, she lifted 102 kg (1st place), and in the clean and jerk, she lifted 125 kg (2nd place). In total, Alexandrina lifted 227 kg, earning her the title of European vice-champion.
