Police responded to video footage circulating online of two girls beating a teenager. The incident was registered by the Buiucan Police Inspectorate on June 30 after a call to the single emergency number 112. Investigators found that the incident happened around 02:20 in a park in the Botanical Sector of the capital.
Police also identified one of the attackers, who turned out to be a 15-year-old girl who lived in the accommodation center. She left the center without notifying management. She had previously been linked to similar incidents.
The victim turned out to be a 17-year-old girl from the Novoanenka district who had previously left her home more than once.
Police will interrogate both girls – the aggressor and the victim – in the presence of specialists to clarify all the circumstances of the incident.
A criminal case was opened in this case.
