A fire broke out on the 17th floor in the residential building “City Gate” in the capital’s Botanica sector. According to the Main Inspectorate for Emergency Situations (MES), seven fire brigades arrived at the scene.
They found out that the fire had engulfed the apartment, inside which they discovered the body of a man without signs of life, as deschide.md reports.
Firefighters evacuated the man from the balcony of the neighboring apartment to prevent possible poisoning by combustion products.
The rescuers also inspected the upper floors to rule out the risk of poisoning other residents.
Now the experts must find out all the circumstances of the fire.
