A 36-year-old man and a 43-year-old woman were jailed for 30 days by suspects of intentionally causing serious bodily harm that resulted in the man’s death. According to information, the suspects were drinking alcohol with the 42-year-old victim at his apartment in the capital’s Botanical District.
A conflict arose between them, resulting in the suspects hitting the man on the head several times.
The man’s death was reported to his friend, who came to visit him.
If the guilt of the detainees is proven, they could face imprisonment of 12 to 15 years.
