A meeting of the Central Election Commission (CEC) decided to increase the number of polling stations in Russia to 5. This decision partially satisfied the complaint of the Party of Socialists of the Republic of Moldova (PSRM).
Previously, the authorities had planned to open only two polling stations, which displeased PSRM representatives and they filed a complaint. Now, after reviewing this complaint, the CEC has decided to open five polling stations instead of two.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs will start work on the establishment of these polling stations within two days, in accordance with CEC Decision No. 2866/2024. Additional polling stations will appear in St. Petersburg, Yaroslavl, Surgut and Khanty-Mansiysk.
We remind you that on October 20, Russia will hold presidential elections and a constitutional referendum on possible integration into the European Union.
