The National Regulatory Agency for Energy (ANRE) has published new maximum prices for basic petroleum products of the standard type, which will come into effect from tomorrow. According to these data, the price for A-95 gasoline will be 23 lei 91 bani per liter (an increase of 1 bani), and for diesel fuel without a commercial name – 20 lei 02 bani (an increase of 3 bani). This information is reported by Noi.md.
As of September 1, 2021, ANRE regulates prices only for A-95 gasoline and diesel fuel without a commercial name. Retail sale of these petroleum products at gas stations at a price higher than the maximum established by ANRE is prohibited. However, prices for other types of fuel can be set by each filling station independently. Provided that the same filling station also sells the basic petroleum products of the standard type, the filling station may also sell other types of petroleum products at retail, which are not subject to ANRE regulation.
