From August 25, starting at 20:00 and until August 27, 00:00, in Chisinau will be changed the traffic on Stefan cel Mare Avenue between Bănulescu-Bodoni and Puskin streets. These changes are related to the organization of events dedicated to Moldova’s Independence Day, which is coming on August 27. This information was provided through rupor.md.
The changes will also affect the public transportation routes:
– Trolleybuses No. 1, 5, 8 and 22: their routes will run along Ciuflia – Bucureşti – Schuseva streets in both directions.
– Trolleybus route No. 4: it will run along Ciuflea – Bucureşti streets in the direction of Buiucani, and along V. Lupu – Mateevici – Pushkin – Stefan cel Mare boulevard in the opposite direction.
– Trolleybus No. 34: its route will change to Szczuseva – Bucureşti streets in the direction towards the center and to V. Alexandri – Bucureşti – Szczuseva streets in the direction towards Truseni.
– On August 26 and 27, the tourist trolleybus will not work.
Many events are planned for Independence Day, and the authorities encourage citizens to support the day by raising as many flags as possible and dressing in the colors of the tricolor.
