The state enterprise “Moldovan Railways” has announced an increase in prices for travel on the Chisinau-Iasi train from May 10, 2024. Tickets will now cost 110 lei for a seat in the III class carriage, 130 lei – in the II class carriage and 170 lei – in the I class carriage. There is a 50% discount for children. At present, the prices are 90 lei per ticket in the III class car, 100 lei – in the II class car and 130 lei – in the I class car.
The Chisinau-Iasi (Sokola) train runs daily. It leaves Chisinau in the morning at 06:27 and arrives in Iasi at 11:12. The return train leaves Iasi at 17:40 and reaches Chisinau at 22:16.
