The National Agency for Energy Regulation (ANRE) has published a new maximum price for gasoline and diesel fuel, which will take effect on May 16. According to ANRE data, the price of 95-octane gasoline will be 22 lei and 98 bani per liter (14 bani lower than before), while diesel fuel will cost 18 lei and 81 bani per liter (9 bani lower than before).
As a result, the cost of gasoline will fall below the 23 lei per liter mark. Since the beginning of April, gasoline has become nearly 2.5 lei per liter cheaper, and the price difference with diesel fuel has exceeded 2 lei per liter.
