The National Energy Regulatory Agency (ANRE) published today, August 8, the new maximum price of basic oil products of standard type, which will take effect from tomorrow.
Thus, the maximum cost of gasoline A-95 will be 25 lei 71 bani (5 bani less) per liter, while diesel fuel without commercial name will be 22 lei 65 bani (12 bani more). Recall that from September 1, 2021, ANRE regulates prices only for gasoline A-95 and diesel without commercial name. At the same time, the retail sale at gas stations of basic petroleum products of standard type at a price higher than the maximum price set by ANRE is prohibited. The prices for other types of fuel can be set by each filling station independently. Filling stations have the right to retail other types of basic petroleum products, except those for which NRATI sets maximum prices, only if the same filling station also sells basic petroleum products of standard type.
