This morning at about 06:00 there was a traffic accident in the capital Chisinau. A man driving a Mercedes car collided with the gate of the Embassy of the Russian Federation and then fled the scene of the accident.
Police officers who arrived at the scene found the car moving towards Straseni. Despite police demands to stop, the driver continued driving and crashed into two other cars, but fortunately no one was injured in the incident.
The driver was forcibly stopped by police officers in Strashen district, where all necessary procedures and checks are currently being carried out in connection with the incident.
