Mercedes-Benz has unveiled the new generation of the E-Class sedan, which will hit the market in 2023. The new body design is done in the brand’s signature style and has headlights visually merged with the radiator grille, as well as numerous decorative elements using the emblematic three-pointed star.
Inside the E-Class sedan cabin, significant changes have been made. The base version has two separate screens, while the top version has the MBUX Superscreen system. Additionally, the car includes a 5G modem for online services and a webcam on the front panel for video calls and shooting videos.
Mercedes-Benz E-Class also received a new version of the MBUX multimedia system with new graphics and extended capabilities, including navigation based on Google Maps.
The W124-generation sedan has grown in size but kept the platform of the previous generation. Options include pneumatic suspension and fully controlled chassis. At launch, all models will be available only with a hybrid powertrain.
The lineup will include models with gasoline engines, turbo-diesels, and plug-in hybrids. Some models will have the ability to travel up to 100 km on electric power only. The new model will be available with both rear-wheel and all-wheel drive.
