Moldova provides assistance to people arriving from armed conflict zones, including Israeli citizens. According to information from the Ministry of Interior, more than 600 Israeli citizens have arrived in Moldova since the beginning of the conflict. To date, none of them have requested assistance from the Moldovan authorities.
The national authorities and the Moldovan Embassy in Israel advise Moldovan citizens there to remain calm and follow the recommendations of the local authorities. Of the approximately 13,000 Moldovan citizens living in Israel, 252 have expressed a desire to return to Moldova.
