After Israel declared a “state of readiness for war,” the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration (MFAEI) issued a travel warning for travelling to Israel.
The MFAEI said in a statement that the situation in the region can change rapidly and “local regulations may differ in different parts of the country”. In this regard, MFAEI advises all Moldovan citizens travelling to Israel to contact the Moldovan embassy in Tel Aviv to receive up-to-date information on the local situation and security updates.
The organisation also recommends following official sources of information, following local and world news about events in the region, and strictly observing the instructions and recommendations of local authorities. MFAEI also emphasises the importance of keeping in touch with close relatives and having a plan in case of emergencies.
Moldovan citizens are asked to contact the Moldovan Embassy in Israel or use MFAEI’s emergency help line if necessary.
