Starting April 1, Chisinau parents will be able to use an online platform to apply for enrollment of their children in the first grade. The process consists of two stages, the first of which will be active from April 1 to May 24, and the second – from June 3 to June 17.
In the first phase, parents will be able to submit an application and the necessary documents to enroll children who will be seven years old by September 1, 2024, taking into account that their place of residence corresponds to the school district. The submission of documents is done through the online platform escoala.chisinau.md.
During the second phase, which will be held from June 3 to June 17, applications for children from the same school district who were not enrolled in the first phase, as well as applications from parents of children from other districts, will be considered.
From August 20 through August 30, 2024, exceptional cases of children who were not enrolled in first grade during the two phases will be reviewed.
The procedure for enrolling children in school for the first grade is free of charge.
