Mayor General Ion Ceban announced the future opening of a cultural centre dedicated to the great artists Ion and Doina Aldea-Teodorovici in Chisinau. The building for this institution is located at 77 Alexei Mateevici Street, near the monument to the artists. Ceban confirmed that he had discussed the plans with Cristofor Aldea-Teodorovici.
The aim of the new cultural centre will be to popularise and promote the heritage of Ion and Doina Aldja-Teodorović. It will not only organise various events, but also present books and albums related to these great artists.
The Aldja-Teodorović family will provide the centre with valuable artefacts, including scores, stage costumes, musical instruments and other items, which will be exhibited in the museum part of the institution.
